Mokxi Kits

Open the box. Build something real.

Every kit is a box of real parts in numbered bags and an instruction booklet, opened and built in your browser. Place each part, wire it, run it, and every step is checked before the next.

  • Free, nothing to buy
  • No account needed
  • Real parts, real code

Already have a starter kit?

Pick the kit on your desk and follow its manual lesson by lesson, with the same parts on the same pins. Mokxi is not affiliated with these kit makers; the names are used so you can find yours.

How a kit works

The parts of a real kit, without the shipping.

  1. Open the boxThe lid lifts and the numbered bags come out. Your parts tray holds exactly what the kit needs.
  2. Bag by bagOpen one bag at a time. Each part has an outline on the board showing where it goes, and the wires go in as it lands.
  3. Check every stepThe booklet runs your circuit and checks it: the motor turns, the screen prints, the light comes on. Then the next page opens.
  4. It worksThe last step runs the whole build. Keep it, change the code, and share an "I built it" card with a friend.

Questions about kits

Do I have to buy anything?

No. Mokxi Kits are not products and nothing ships. Every part, bag and booklet is on screen, and every kit is free to build.

Do I need an account?

No. Open a kit and start building. Your place is kept in this browser. Sign up free if you want to carry on from another computer or phone.

Are kits OK for a class?

Yes. A kit is built from the same lessons and checks as our courses, and it collects nothing new. Class accounts follow the same student privacy rules as the rest of Mokxi.

Can I build the real thing afterwards?

Yes. Every kit uses real parts wired the way you would wire them on a bench, and the code is ordinary Arduino code. Check part ratings against their datasheets before you build with real power.

Open your first kit

The Starter Kit takes about two and a half hours, from a first wire to a game you can play. No account, nothing to install.
