Help someone fix their code
Fix the code from a forum post
Paste the code from a forum post. Mokxi wires the parts it uses, runs it, explains each compiler error in plain words, and writes your reply with a link that runs it. Free, no account.
A Wokwi, GitHub or CircuitJS link works here too. How fixing works
From a forum post to a reply
- Paste. Mokxi guesses the board and reads the sketch: Servo, DHT, LiquidCrystal_I2C, Adafruit_SSD1306, Adafruit_NeoPixel and other libraries, the pin constants, and the pinMode, digitalWrite, digitalRead, analogRead and attach calls. It places those parts and wires them to those pins, with a 220 ohm resistor on each LED.
- Run. The editor compiles the sketch in your browser and runs it. Each compiler error comes with what it means in plain words, a one-tap fix where there is one, and Show me how.
- Copy answer. Once it works, Copy answer gives you a Markdown reply: one line on what was wrong, the fixed code in a code block, and the link with "Run it live in your browser (free, no account)". It pastes straight into Reddit or the Arduino forum.
Say that you help build Mokxi
Reddit’s rules on self-promotion and the Arduino forum both ask anyone who links their own tool to say so. The copied answer ends with “I help build Mokxi.”, on by default. Leave it on if you work on Mokxi; switch it off if you are simply a helper who likes the tool.
