Every built-in project, in one grid
Each one is a real project, ready to run: search by name, part or library, or pick a level, a topic and a board, and open it in the editor. Teachers hand any of them to a class as the starter.
418 projects
Blink and press
A pushbutton and a 2 Hz clock, no processor in sight.
Hello, breadboard
A switch, a resistor and an LED: the first circuit, with the whole loop in view.
MOSFET switch
A 2N7000 switching an LED from a slide switch, with no gate resistor anywhere: the switch a board pin reaches for.
Zener regulator
A 1N4733A holding 5 V out of a 12 V supply, with the load line that says where it settles and what the load costs.
555 tone
A 555 astable drives a piezo straight from the output pin, no board and no button.
Gate lab
Two buttons drive an AND, an XOR and a NOT, so the truth table lights up as you press.
Binary counter
Two 74HC74s ripple-count on four LEDs, four steps a second, no microcontroller.
Decade chaser
A 555 astable clocks a CD4017 decade counter and ten LEDs take turns to light, with no microcontroller.
Switch shifter
A 74HC165 loads an 8-way DIP switch at the press of a button and clocks the byte out one bit a second onto an LED.
BCD display
Four DIP switches set a number in binary and a CD4511 shows it as a digit on a seven-segment display.
Decoder chaser
A 74HC14 oscillator clocks a 74HC161 counter and a 74HC138 decoder lights one LED of eight at a time.
Up/down counter
A slide switch and a 74HC02 steer a clock into a 74HC193, which counts up or down in binary on four LEDs.
ESP32-C3 blink
An LED on GPIO 8, driven by real firmware.
ESP32-C3 knight rider
An ESP32-C3 sweeps a bright dot back and forth along six LEDs, one GPIO each.
ESP32-C3 Ring Simon
Simon on a sixteen-LED ring with a rotary encoder: turn the knob to the color you were shown and press the shaft.
ESP32-C3 OLED dice
A die tumbling on a 128x64 OLED, thrown by holding an arcade button and slowing to a stop when you let go.
Uno OLED pong
Pong on a 128x64 OLED with a thumb stick for the paddle: where the ball strikes sets the angle it leaves at.
ESP32-C3 OLED pong
Thumb-stick pong on an ESP32-C3 and an OLED: a twelve-bit ADC moves the paddle and the score is drawn in digits.
ESP32-C3 thumb stick
A thumb stick on the ESP32-C3 ADC: the raw axes go to the serial monitor and how far the stick is pushed sets how brightly the LED on that side is lit.
Uno snake on two matrices
An 8x16 play field on two MAX7219 modules, steered with a thumb stick: eat the apple, grow, and do not hit a wall or yourself.
ESP32-C3 Stacker
The arcade stacker game on two cascaded MAX7219 matrices: the row slides, the button drops it, the overhang is cut off.
ESP32-C3 rainbow strip
An ESP32-C3 runs a hue wheel along sixteen WS2812Bs, bit-banged to the datasheet pulse widths.
ESP32-C3 OLED shapes
A 128x64 SSD1306 OLED on an ESP32-C3 over bit-banged I2C: titles, shapes, a bouncing ball and a counter.
ESP32-C3 Simon
Four LEDs flash a growing sequence, four buttons play it back.
