Arduino Uno R4 WiFi simulator, with the LED matrix
The Uno R4 WiFi is the Minima’s Renesas RA4M1, an Arm Cortex-M4 at 48 MHz, on the Uno outline, with a 12 by 8 red LED matrix to draw on and WiFi. The matrix is charlieplexed on eleven pins and scanned the way the board scans it; the WiFi is a simulated network, with no second chip behind it.

What is modeled
Taken from the board's own contract document and put in plain words, with what is missing listed underneath.
Not in the model
- The ESP32-S3 module itself and its serial link: the WiFi calls reach the network directly.
- The real board’s matrix wiring table. The library and the board share Mokxi’s own, so drawing through the library is right; driving the eleven pins by hand from the real table is not.
- ArduinoGraphics text on the matrix, and the Qwiic connector.

Each of these opens in the editor exactly as it is drawn here.
Every built-in project on the Uno R4 WiFi
Each has its own page with the circuit running, the code and a parts list.
Arduino libraries that compile as they are
Paste a tutorial that includes one of these and it builds: each is written for Mokxi, on its own drivers, under the name the tutorials use. For any other library the build names the Mokxi header that does the same job.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Every board and every part is on the free plan, with no account needed.
Does it simulate WiFi?
Yes, and it says so. WiFiS3.h joins a network written in software, with the name and password as settings on the board. There is no radio and no real internet, and no ESP32-S3 in the model.
Can I draw my own pictures on the matrix?
Yes: renderBitmap takes eight rows of twelve, loadFrame takes three 32-bit words, and loadSequence with play runs an animation.
Will a Minima sketch run on it?
Yes. The headers, the pins and the chip are the same. A sketch that uses the matrix or WiFi does not compile for the Minima, which has neither.
The other boards
Every one of these runs today, and every one is free.
Try it on your own firmware
What you build here runs on the board on your desk, unchanged. Nothing to install and no account needed.
